We are against the wall....The a/c is coming back

Yes, we are bringing the A/C out of retirement due to no pool pump until the 21st. I have turned the company in to the BBB and the FTC and Attorney General office here in Florida and in CA where their business is.

Now, bringing the A/C out of retirement brings maintance that has to be done. As you know when you do maintance on something that hasn't ran in...ummm...years you very easily run into nightmarious repairs. We found that the person who installed our A/C put the drain pipe in at an upward slant...which is why it did not drain properly to begin with...we had to repipe that...we found we need to replace sheet rock and reseal the box under the A/C. We had to clean the coils.....This took all of today and as I type, hubby is done with everything except the sheet rocking, he is doing that now. So hopefully tonight I will be going to bed Sweat free...unless we choose to work up a sweat ;P . I will be able to look at my broken down pool without the sweat running down between my breasts. Dancing a bit of a jig here....I have many ways of winning an arguement, even if it is only within my head.

But,I am giving into the Electric bill.I'm dreading that coming our way,Maybe I should get a job at clear channel..... 1.6 million should cover the bill....

Oh, Vital, I hope you don't have to take a loan out to pay the a/c bill this summmer. I believe I'm going to have to. It was 279.00 this month, and the humidity isn't even here yet. Ugh.

I may be living in a van down by the river soon.

Jock, I haven't gotten the bill yet with the A/C yet....dreading,but We have in the last month replaced both washer and dryer and my bill droped quit abit with the newer appliances...However, back when we used to run our A/C my bill use to run about $300.00. I have to confess though we have 5 people in this house and 2 being teenagers who love loooong HOT showers and never seem to remember to shut things off when they are done....huge sigh here....

Dwayne...nope boob sweat never hurts, but I like to be in control of when they sweat and when they don't ;P

Good point. I think gas hot water heaters are more efficient.
