I'm not all too sure whatto write about, but feeling the need to update.....hmmmm. Ok, yes, We got the pool pump....The jerk sent me a down graded pool pump with the same stinking cheap hoses that I was trying to get away from. I paid 40.00 for each hose...they are the same exact hoses I was buying somewhere else for 6.00 for 2 hoses.....They are not taling any calls now, imagine that. Screwed is what I am.Right now I am too busy to call a lawyer, if they could even help. I'm in a race...We must finish this house before things start shuting off around here. We worked 13 hrs yesterday, our employee worked 7hrs even though he was suppose to start at the same time we did....On time is not in his vocabulary. If we tell him to be there at 7am, he is there at 9am sometimes 10am. Drives me insane, but he has stuck it out with us through everything while the others have come and gone. He is my hubby's friend...ok he is a family friend and has been he with us for almost 6 years on and off. We are the only ones who put up with his unusual hrs. He is also the one I called when hubby fell cutting 2 4" x 1" gaping wholes in his leg on a gusset plate. He came and fisnished a roof we were doing. Put up all the tools and helped me get them home, while I raced to the emergency room with hubby. He was working some where else at the time. So, as much as I complain about him, he does have good qualities about him and well...he is considered family. You tend to put up with stuff from family.
I'm tired to say the least. I took my oldest to work a 5:30 am yesterday didn't get in bed until 11:00pm and now back up at 5:30 am to start the race all over again. Then we have hubby's family all coming here tomorrow for the 4th.....big sigh....
Life has been really hard lately, yes...I know it could be worse....I could be sitting under a bridge some where with no arms and legs....but still...life has been really hard the last 2 years. I'm not sure when it will level out and that tends to make it even more stressful not seeing an end at the tunnel....or light I should say. Work is slowing waaay down. Building all over is way down. We just got finished sitting for almost 3 weeks....which means we haven't had a payday in almost a month.....sucks. We really can't afford the party tomorrow...and well we aren't...Hubby called his gram to reschedule...his gram in turn called the rest of the family and they are bringing all the food. Fireworks are left over from last year (We had waay too many), all we have to do is provide our house. So, the celebration is still on. Oh, did I mention that Gram is now walking with only her cane?! Yes, she is doing much better and is smoke free for almost 3 months? Maybe just 2, but still it is a big accomplishment and we are proud. Well time to go start that race today. We are finishing the interior today(crossing fingers).
