my husband just arrived in florida (boynton beach) today.. we lived there 3.5 years and dealt with enough hurricanes for me..I'd rather have snow..to think my hubby grew up there-in miami.. always, Crusty~
I'm going on 10 years here. Moved here in 98. First hurricane was in 2004. We got 3 or was it 4 that year? Either way it was 1 too many. Hubby has most of his family here. He won't move. I rather the mountains in TN. myself.
Even if Dean should hit Texas, it probably won't affect where I am in the Panhandle. The only thing we get from hurricanes are sometimes rain storms that eventually make it up here. I'm not worried about. Our threat is usually tornadoes in the spring but it's been a pretty mild year for that as well.
