Buyer-B-Ware

Last Friday we come home from work to find in the back yard that the pool hose had cracked and broke into. Now this hose is the out flow hose that goes from the pump back into the pool. We had the vacum attacked and so the pump had emptied the pool and then burned up. We are in total shock. Now we have had this pool almost a year and the hoses are made out of cheap material. We know this cause we have had to replace these hoses twice already, but you can only get these hoses from the manufactuer and they are specialy made just for this pump and pool. You can not get them any where else.
After we got over the shock, I get online and google intex pools. I get a different website than I normaly order from: Brands On Sale. I pull up our pump and guess what it has been up graded and it is on sale...hence the name of the website.....I also go to the hoses for this pump...guess what...they have been upgraded to, but here the price has gone waaaaay up. I discuss this with hubby and well we just didn't care, if the hoses were better it would be worth the cost....I buy them at $40.00 a piece...yes each hose is $40.00 and you need 2. I look to see when we might have pull and hoses in hand and guess what....If we make our order in 30 min. it will ship that day and only take 4 days to get here....Yaaahooo...I place my order. Ok this was Friday and I took in account that they may not actually get the item shipped that day...I also figured they may not ship over the weekend as well......I figure the items would be here Thursday or Friday....
I get an E-mail yesterday from UPS stating the following: This is a message is from Brands on sale. Thank-you for your order ........Your shipment is on its way. Scheduled delivery date is June 21st. I'm like waaaait a minute. My order is suppose to be here today or tomorrow....It was suppose to be shipped on Friday, Monday at the latest. I also read where it says to track this order CLICK HERE. I click and am brought directly to the UPS website and read there special message just for me, it goes as follows: We have recieved an invoice billing and your shipment is in the system, this does not guarantee that your order has been dropped off or picked up. Now I'm even more mad, cause this just means that Brands On Sale has just Printed an invoice through their account with UPS and that my order may not even be at UPS yet....I grab the phone pull up BOS's website and get their 1-800 number.
"Hello, thank-you for calling Brands on Sale how may I help you?" Customer Service Lady. Me, " Yes I placed an order with you on Friday and on your website it said that I should have my items within 4 days. I received an email today stating that it would not be here until June 21...that's another 5 days from today" CSL, " Umm...Could I get your name?" Me, " Oh yes my name is Blah blah, but it is under my husbands name Blah blah" CSL," ok...what is your zip code?" I tell her. CSL, " Um....Yes... you picked ground ship? Well we can not be responsible for the US postal service...once it leaves our warehouse, it is out of our hands" Me, " um...You don't ship with the Post office, You shipped with UPS and I have an E-mail here stating that you just now pulled the invoice for it to go to UPS, It was suppose to ship on Friday" CSL, " Where did you get that information?!" I'm thinking to myself, lady I hacked into your computer and got the information, while there, I also look up your dress and seen you had on a thong meant for a barbie...hence the cut off flow of blood to your brain which explains your ingnorance to me...... Me," Um...you sent me an email...with a tracking number through UPS" CSL, "Well, like I said we can not be held responsible for the post office once it leaves out ware house" Ok...getting a bit irratated...."look Lady, on your website it said if I placed my order with in 30 min it would be shipped today.....I pulled up your service map to see how many days....It said 4 cause I live in Florida. It is now Thursady......5 bussiness day from my order and now i received an email stating it is gonna be another 6 days before I get my pool pump" CSL, "Um...What is your name again? (I tell her) You picked ground ship?" Me, "Yes...but that was with Groundship...if I wanted next day or 2 day ship it would have added another $150.00 in shipping" Ok....We go through this over and over, what my name is...did I pick groundship and how they can't be responsible for the US Post Office.....I'm getting irratated so I tell her, "Look, I need to speak to someone over you with more authority and a little bit more intelligence than you" CLICK...I am sent to listen to music while she gets someone else. A man comes on line that apparently has been informed that I am Irrate....will just call him "Stupid Man with Authority...SMA...... SMA, "Hello, How can I assist you? ME...but with a little of an elevated voice...and very irratated, "yes, I ordered a pool pump and hoses from you on Friday. On your website it stated that if I ordered within the next 30 min. the order would ship that day....I also pulled up ypur map which said that it would be here within 4 days. I got an email stating that it would not be here til the 21st." SMA, " Yes, I know what the website says, but you can't honestly go by that...we get over 30 thousand orders a day and we could not possibly ship everything that day" Me, "Well isn't that False advertisement?" SMA, " You obviously want something...what do you want?" ME, " I want my pool pump!" I get off the phone stating that I will never order from them again......So buyer-B-Ware....do not order from Brands On Sale website: www.brandsonsale.com
